Bryon Dan, I just wanted to wish you luck for the races there -- I'll be watching for you in the 50! (Posted from Waterloo at 4:26:00 PM EST)
Peter & Mary L. Crooks Hi Dan - Wanted to send our good wishes - we will be up a 4:00am to watch your race and cheering loudly from our livingroom. Best of Luck (Posted from Thunder Bay at 1:23:00 PM EST)
Lisa Clarridge (Fernandes) Hey Dan! We are so proud of you! I have been watching you at those crazy hours in the morning (4am!) and it has been so worth it to see my cuz at the Olympics. I know how much hard work went into training for so many years, so be proud that it has all been worth it! We'll all be cheering you on in the 50K (I'll be sweating just watching)...We love ya! (Posted from Seagrave, Ontario at 6:24:00 PM EST)
Mum & Dad P.S. Carol Gibson-Coyne on Canada-wide TV, when asked to give some info on you, said that you had your own software business and that you were a very intellligent and fine young man. And you know what? She's absolutely right!! (Posted from You know where at 1:15:00 PM EST)
Mum and Dad Love you, Son. Enjoy playing "tourist" and getting to see some of the other action. We're with you all the way. (Posted from Port Sydney at 1:12:00 PM EST)
Dan Roycroft Thank you everyone for the best wishes. The 15km was a little frustrating, but I cannot regret something I had no control over. Last year, a similar snow storm helped me qualify for the Olympics, so it's some-what fitting that it helped someone else this time around. Now, the focus is on the 50km and getting rested for that. Thank you for all the messages. (Posted from Pregelato, Italy at 9:46:00 AM EST)
Mary RR Hi Dan, Awesome race in that beastly weather. Saw you at the start line and your interview - you looked great. Granddad was thrilled to see you too. Good luck on Sunday! Love, Mary (Posted from Toronto at 8:25:00 PM EST)

Marc Hartenberg Hey Dan, Congrats! As we went to MCS together back in the day it is awesome to see you on TV at the olympics! I finally realize that the Winter Ski-a-thons for MCS is what initially trained you for this event :-) Blessings and I you got fans all over the country! www.bethany.on.ca (Posted from Kitchener at 9:26:00 AM EST)

Mum & Dad So you're the real reason winter is lingering on here. The local newspaper, The Forester, in the weekly cartoon shows W. Groundhog in his burrow, ensconsed in his easy-chair with a beer and a bowl of popcorn watching the Olympics. He's holding a sign saying, "Go, Roycroft, Go", and his little mouse friend standing near the popcorn is waving a sign saying,"Dan". So there it is folks: the real reason we're still under 5 ft of snow. (Dan, See the cartoon on your zone4 email) (Posted from Port Sydney at 7:36:00 PM EST)
