Winter Multisport Racing

By: Pete Cameron

Good Afternoon,

My name is Pete Cameron and I am the Salomon Adventure Challenge Series manager for Frontier Adventure Racing Inc. I am contacting you, a Cross-Country Skiing enthusiast, to let you know of our Series events this winter.

The races have Coed and Open teams of three navigate their way across a 40+ km, unmarked racecourse by Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Mountain Biking, and Snowtubing. Over 90% of teams finish the racecourse within the 8 hour time limit and each event leaves a lasting, inspirational impression on those who participate.

In the snowy months of 2003, we will be staging two Salomon Adventure Challenge races in the East - Talisman Mountain Resort (Jan. 25) and at Mont Ste. Marie (Mar. 22). After a very successful year in 2002, we expect these events to be quite popular. This is a great way to spend a day and also promotes your organization (eg. Team University of Guelph, Team Nakkertok Ski Club, etc.) to all competitors and volunteers.

If this sounds like something you and your organization would enjoy, please pass this message along and visit WWW.FAR.ON.CA for more information.

Sincerely,

Pete Cameron
Salomon Adventure Challenge Series manager
