November 14th Update

Every fall nordic skiers look for something white to slide on. I can say for certain that our search this year has been a successful one as we are currently in Silver Star, British Columbia skiing on amazing November snow. Our latest venture marks our 4th on snow camp of the year. The skiing for us began in May with ten days of early snow training at Vancouver Island’s Mt. Washington. The team then headed to the Haig Glacier in Kananskis, Alberta for camps in July, August, and September.

Our primary focus was to make technique improvements by spending as much time on snow as possible throughout the summer and fall months. Our snow-chasing efforts throughout the year have resulted in huge technical improvements for each skier. The team is excited to race and is looking forward to reaping the benefits of a long, hard season of training.

With the race season just around the corner we are logging lots of kilometres and making sure to closely monitor the health of each athlete. Our team will be racing at the following events:

Canada Cups - Vernon Nov 30th / Dec.1st Continental Cups – Vernon Dec.5th / 7th /8th Continental Cups – Rossland Dec.14th / 15th

Hopefully we will have a prosperous snow year in Canada.
See you on the trails... Mike
