Renner Sprints to Another Win Down Under

Sara Renner sprinted her way to her second win in as many days, beating teammate Beckie Scott by 1 second in today's 10km mass start skate race at the New Zealand Championships. Renner won the event in a time of 28 minutes and 11 seconds. Renner and Scott finished with a comfortable 2 minute margin over third palce finisher Carmen Schindler of Germany. Canadian skier Milaine Theriault, who is also training at the Snow Farm, was unable to start again due to lingering sickness. Katerina Bondarenko finished as the top New Zealand skier in the race to claim her second national title of the weekend.

The Canadian women will wrap up their three week training camp on Wednesday and return to Canada on Thursday evening.
