"We're coming off our best World Cup season ever for combined and the best in many years for cross country and jumping," Bodensteiner said. "These athletes played a major role in those successes and with that experience, we're looking to keep the momentum rolling as we start a new Olympic cycle."

Olympic cross country skiers Kikkan Randall (Anchorage, AK/Gold 2002-Alaska Pacific U.) and Lindsey Weier (Mahtomedi, MN/Minneapolis Ski Club/Community Olympic Development Program) are among 12 young athletes named to the U.S. nordic development teams for the 2003 season, Nordic Director Luke Bodensteiner said Friday.
