NSDT Canmore Announced

The National Senior Development Team - Canmore is excited to announce the following athletes for the 2002/03 team:

New Members:
Devon Kershaw - 2001/02 National Junior Team, Devon is a great competitor and we look forward to having him on our team, and we look forward to assisting Devon in achieving his goals.
Home Club: Laurentian Nordic Ski Club

Shayla Swanson - 2001/02 National Junior Team, Shayla had excellent junior years and we look forward to her becoming a strong senior competitor, and we look forward to assisting her in achieving her goals

Returning athletes:
Tasha Betcherman
, 2002/03 will be Tasha's first full year in Canmore, Tasha is highly motivated athlete and will provide great leadership to her teammates.

Tara Whitten, after successful senior Nationals in Canmore, Tara will be focusing her energies on top performances at the U23 Championships in Salt Lake City.

Shane Stevens, Shane goal will be to return to his previous level, Shane is a tough competitor and look for him to make some waves on the Continental Cups this year

Charles Nadeau, 2002/03 will be Charles first full year in Canmore, one of the most improved seniors in 2002 look for Charles to continue this trend - his 4th in the 50 km National Championships was for real.

Erik Carleton, Erik had a tough start to the 2002-year dealing with illness; he will be working hard to re-gain the form he enjoyed in 2000 when he was a double medalist at the Canadian Senior Championships.
