Hoffman and Botvinov Cleared

Austrian cross-country skiers Christian Hoffmann and Mikhail Botvinov have not surprisingly been cleared by the IOC for blood doping allegations during the 2002 Olympic games.

Hoffmann was 2nd and Botwinow 3rd in the men's 30k mass start event at the Olympics. Some of the Austrians have admitted to using a blood treatment method but the process does not seem to be considered blood doping by the IOC.
