NorAM Series Continues with 10/15km Pursuit

Ivan Babikov (Foothills Nordic) continued to show his strength in distance races and Tasha Betcherman (INDi2010 Racing Team) dominated the women's field today in Canmore.

Betcherman, skiing for the INDi2010 team, was the victor by a healthy margin over Madeleine Williams (Edmonton Nordic) in 2nd and NST skier Dasha Gaiazova (Skielite) in 3rd.

Babikov's margin of victory was not as large as Betcherman's, though he did ski to a comfortable win.  Following in 2nd was another INDi2010 team member, Dan Roycroft (Arrowhead Nordic).  Third Place was a hard fought bunch sprint between five racers, Chris Jeffries (Foothills Nordic) eventually edged out Graham Nishikawa (Whitehorse X-C) for the final podium position.

Racing continues over the weekend with skate sprints and individual start classic races.
