Australian National Team looking for Wax Technician for Canadian World Cups

The Australian National team will be attending the Canadian World Cups in December and are looking for a wax technician to help out the team. At the moment, head coach Finn Marsland will be the only Australian coach there, with 3-4 athletes competing in the sprint and 3 in the pursuit. They are in need of a wax technician or coach who is interested in getting some World Cup experience and also helping the Australian team qualify for the Olympics. Preferably someone with experience of waxing for elite skiers, but even an experienced Canadian athlete who won't be racing and could help out as a "test pilot" would be handy. The team will will cover all expenses - transport, accommodation, waxes - and once the budget is finalized perhaps a small salary as well.

At the moment they are only looking at the Sovereign Lakes races, because their Olympic selection is based on World Cups in the exact distances and techniques of the events at the Olympics in Torino, but there is a small chance they will take 1-2 skiers to Canmore as well.

Interested persons should contact Finn Marsland via email on
